Since 2016, Taiwan has launched the "New Southern Policy", the goal of bilateral economic development with Southeast Asian countries. Among those countries in the Southeast Asian region, Vietnam is considered as the first choice of Taiwanese businesses. In particular, in the medical field, many Taiwanese businesses and hospitals have signed and cooperated with Vietnamese medical units.
The seminar "Taiwan and Vietnam join hands for a healthy life" is part of the annual Taiwan Expo series of events organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council  (TAITRA). The seminar in particular and Taiwan Expo series in general play a crucial role  in promoting the friendly relationship between Taiwan and Vietnam.
The webinar revolved around the following topics: comprehensive healthcare services, smart healthcare solutions, advanced medical devices, healthy lifestyle products and one-stop OEM/ ODM (one stop service OEM/ODM). Participating in the Conference, individuals and businesses had valuable the opportunity to meet leading experts in the medical field, as well as access to learn a lot of in-depth knowledge, bringing practical benefits.
Through this seminar, TAITRA not only brings Taiwan's advanced technologies and modern medical solutions to Vietnam, guiding a long-term direction for businesses, but also providing potential options for high-quality medical services for Vietnamese people.
